Facing East is a ministry dedicated to the restoration of the Church’s original foundation. One that is Spirit-filled, liturgical, sacramental, and governed by divine order. We equip leaders and believers alike to rediscover and return to the fullness of the faith, grow in spiritual maturity, and live from the reality of union with God.
Who We Are
We are an apostolic and prophetic people who believe that the future of the Church depends on a faithful return to her ancient roots. Our work is grounded in the life of the Spirit and anchored in the practices of the early Church. We help pastors, reformers, intercessors, and everyday believers move from fragmented spirituality into lasting formation, sacred rhythm, and divine alignment.
For over a decade, we have served as a bridge between the modern apostolic and prophetic movement and the ancient faith. We walk in the language of the Spirit while calling the Body back to the foundation that was never meant to be abandoned. Our focus is not reinvention, but restoration.
Our Mission
The mission of Facing East is to restore the Church to her original pattern... Apostolic in order, prophetic in clarity, and sacramental in life. We believe that revival is sustained not by vain effort but by true alignment. And we believe that the Lord is calling His people out of spiritual instability and into maturity, rooted in the rhythm of the life of the Church and the presence of Christ.
We are raising up leaders who build from the altar, govern with wisdom, and walk in the authority of heaven. We are creating pathways for believers to return to the depth and power of the ancient faith without losing their hunger for the Spirit. And we are equipping the Body of Christ to operate in both structure and flow, Word and Spirit, silence and power.
What We Teach
Facing East teaches from the well of ancient apostolic order, prophetic revelation, and sacramental worship. We believe the Spirit is still moving, the Church is still alive, and the kingdom of God is advancing through those who are properly aligned.
We help believers understand the relationship between spiritual gifts and spiritual discipline. We reintroduce the sacraments as active encounters with the presence of God. We teach prayer that leads to transformation, worship that flows from holiness, and governance that reflects heaven’s design.
Our focus is formation, not performance. We are here to help leaders and believers walk in spiritual authority without drifting from spiritual health and wholeness. Everything we offer is built to support lasting alignment, generational impact, and faithful communion with Christ.

About Archbishop Wayne E. Daniels, Jr.
Archbishop Wayne Daniels Jr. is a trailblazer in the apostolic and prophetic movement, carrying a unique mandate to restore the ancient rhythms of the Church while moving in the power of the Spirit. For over a decade, he has stood at the intersection of reformation and revelation—calling God’s people back to divine order, sacramental life, and authentic communion with the living Christ.
He began his journey with Christ at the age of sixteen, marked early by a relentless hunger for truth and intimacy with God. Though holding no institutional degrees, his formation has come through deep encounter, noetic prayer, and years immersed in the writings of the Fathers, the power of the liturgy, and the enduring life of the Church.
As Archbishop within the American Orthodox Catholic Church, he now serves as a bridge between what many call the “prophetic movement” and the fullness of the ancient faith. His ministry has been marked by signs, wonders, and miracles—yet his greatest passion is not performance, but presence: helping people encounter God in the sacraments, the silence, and the beauty of the Orthodox way.
In addition to his ecclesial work, Archbishop Wayne is a seasoned entrepreneur, business strategist, and pioneer in private finance and ecclesiastical law. His work in this space empowers leaders to walk in freedom, stewardship, and Kingdom dominion—structuring their lives and resources according to heaven’s economy.
He has been joyfully married to his wife Lashaundra for nearly 20 years, and together they are raising four brilliant and beautiful children: Ashlyn, Israel, Austin, and Benjamin.
Whether preaching, teaching, building, or praying—his mission remains the same: To awaken the Church to the life she was always meant to live. A Church fully alive. Spirit-filled. Sacrament-rooted. Facing East.
